An ex-gf of mine was staying with me. She moved in the last week of December and didn't pay anything. She was aware that she would be required to pay $450 to stay there. The last week of December I paid for in full. The relationship fell apart and she moved out yesterday. There wasn't a lease or contract filled out. She got up and left on the 16, and now claims she is entitled to a refund. Am I under any obligation to give it to her? She was supposed to pay half of the utilities too and is refusing to.
The locks were changed on the home as she has no business being there since she moved.
She claims she is taking me to small claims court.
