This is in England, UK- not sure if any british lawyers can help?
My friends are landlords and the tenants did not pay their rent for almost a year (slightly complex backstory involving them trying to sue for 'injury' due to poor flooring'), so essentially owed £10,000. This went to county court hearing where the tenants agreed they owed this money. The order was for this to be paid back -however it was not specified how much over what period of time.
Initialy the tenants repaid at £50 per month, which they have now stopped.
How can the landlords get back this money which they is owed? Would it be an idea to write a letter to the tenants essentially ordering them to repay at X amount (a reasonable amoutn lets say £200 per month), with the threat of further legal action if they do not comply in the next month?
