What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC

I am a tenant at a single-family home, a tree from our landlords property feel and damaged my new car. Who is responsible for the damages done to my personal property?

Unless your landlord can be shown to be negligent, it is your insurance that will be paying for this. if the tree is sick, or there is a history of his failure to trim or dispose of it despite requests from the city, a landscaping company, neighbors, etc., then it is not his fault that the tree fell. Your comprehensive insurance will take care of it.
