We have a home in NC that is a rental property. The renter pays the mortgage when he pays the rent. We do not make enough monies tp pay it, if he fails to do so. In December, he failed to pay the rent and now January is due. We are concerned that the home will go in to foreclosure. If this happens, can I go about getting any rent monies back from him. What is our legal recourse?

Best recourse.....SELL THE HOUSE IMMEDIATELY

You are NOT cut out to be a landlord....you have NO MONEY in case of emergencies, and YOU want the tenat to bail YOU OUT.

What if the furnace or water heater needs repair today, or the refridgerator dies...are YOU going to make the tenant suffer cause you aint got no money to fix it.

You are trailer trash slumlords........sell the house!
