Hello and thank you for this service.

I live in Oregon. I recently purchased a manufactured home and I am leasing the property. My landlord is a jerk.

Is there any way I can make him stay off my property (which I am leasing from him) and make him call me or mail me if he has a problem with anything I might be doing????

He knocks on the door at inappropriate times and starts with a negative attitude and is causing us a great amount of stress.

He has told me he doesnt care about me or any problems I might be having in the least.
So........I want as little to do with him as possible.

What do you think?

Sincerely,
Cindy

He's not allowed on your property without your permission. As long as it's leased to you, the land is "yours." BUT, since strangers can walk up your driveway and knock on your door, he can too. Contact your local tenants' rights group (librarian will know where they are) and ask them for a copy of the residential landlord tenant act for OR. You may be able to sue him or force him to deal with you in writing or get large damages and/or atty fees.
