What is the name of your state?Louisiana. I have a "friend" who had a verbal lease agreement with his tenant. The tenant "skipped/left" town owing three months rent and contact hasn't been able to be established with him. He left his property behind which is not worth the value of the outstanding rental debt. However, my friend would like to know if it is legal to convert the former tenant's property?
