What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

My grandma rents a house next story from us. The lady that lives there and that rents from her slipped and fell in the kitchen while cooking 2 weeks ago. She said she slipped on some water. She split her head open. Now she wants to move out and is threating to sue and she is going to talk to a lawyer. What should we do? Does she have grounds? Should we also lawyer up?

If so can anyone give references to some great AZ civil lawyers?

This is not an attorney referral site.

Why do YOU think you're involved in this at all?

IF the tenant sues, the owner's insurance will take care of it, provided grandma has a proper landlord's policy.

I don't see that tenant has any case for anything, she slipped on a hazard she herself created in her own kitchen, nothing that could remotely be construed as landlord's fault.

I am sure that no nation can pace with the developed world on civilized ground till it abolish the absentee landlord-ism & tenancy from its social fabric. Of course she has a valid & solid ground to Sui against other party...

Anyone care to translate this into something vaguely coherent?
