What is the name of your state? Georgia
Can a military spouse be "called back" (or whatever the term is) while on terminal leave if he is reported for domestic abuse or do they just let it ride if he is officially retired at the end of the month? What is the name of your state? Georgia

On "leave", terminal or otherwise, a person is still subject to the UCMJ and can be dealt with accordingly. The individual can be put on legal hold by their CO, or "investigatory action" can be initiated, and in some circumstances even if a DD-214 (discharge papers) is issued the person can still be tried. That's why they talk about the "long arm of the law." Whether or not the military will go to the trouble is another question. If someone is retiring and facing only minor charges it might well be ignored.

So the answer is: Yes. Your terminal leave can be cancelled and you can be hauled back for whatever is in store.

Actually, I am the victim. Just wanted to know if it's worth it to even report it to the military at this point.

Depends on how long you've been married...

If over 10 years, keep your mouth shut, divorce him, and get your 50% retirement check.

If under 10 years, let them know, and see what transpires.

Too late. His first wife had been married to him for 10 years, kept her mouth shut and wouldn't file the papers even though they had been separated for at least two years. She is getting 25% of the pension. Since he is retiring at the end of the month and we have only been married for 5 years, I get bumpkiss. Besides, it wouldn't even be worth the money. Thanks anyway.;)
