What is the name of your state? Mississippi is my state. My husband was recently terminated due to a disagreement regarding business practices conducted by his boss. He saw and knows of fraudulent and unethical business practices by his former boss and would like for the company the work was done for to know about the wrong doings. Most of the wrong doings are not documented and would be one's word against the other's word. Without concrete proof, if we send the company a letter listing all of the wrong doings, can his former boss sue him? We want to be sure, because if the company takes this information seriously, his former boss will be unemployed and his business ruined. My husband already has a new and better job, but he doesn't think his former boss should get away with any more than he already has. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I was just thinking the same thing. If they are doing something illegal, report it to the right authorities so it can be properly investigated. If you just try to contact their clients to make your charges, it will look very much like you are just trying to get back at your former employer for letting you go.
