terminated by co. and ignored by union

What is the name of your state? california
i was recently term. from my job as mgr. trnee, which is a
union position. after being wrongfully termed i called my rep
and he told me to file a grievance. i did exactly as i was told
and no one ever contacted me about it. i called the rep and
the co. to find out when my hearing date would be and got
the runaround. now i think it passed the time limit, by law.
what can i do about misrepresentation and wrongful
termination.
