What is the name of your state? PA

I entered into a contract with a business as a consultant in Mar 06. The business is in MD. The contract was for 2 years. No work was done on the contract. In the contract it states that the business or the consultant can terminate this contract at any time by giving the other party 15 calendar days prior written notice. I intend to terminate the contract. Should I send a certified letter to their HR dept giving the notice? Can they in anyway claim a breech of contract? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

If you have a cancellation clause in your contract, and you do what it says, it's hard to see how they could claim breach of contract.
