What is the name of your state? California

I was fired for creating an image using company resources

1.i was allowed to create personal images before (i have proof of my company site that has many personal images and even showed clients this) and my boss never cared can i be fired with no warning?

2. i did many other things like listen to Howard Stern in my office while boss was with me obviously against company policy can they decide one day to enforce it without letting me know?

3. problems didnt start until company was bought out is this even relevant to my being fired?

4. I was fired over the phone is that ok?

Last question which has to do with unemployment benefits:
do i have a fighting chance since i was able to do these things before ? or does that even matter?

It doesn't matter to me, but a fighting chance is 1% and yes, you have that.
