I don't know if this is in the correct forum or not, if you know where it should go please advise and I will repost.

Anyway, I had a termite bond on my house in Alabama. It requires an expensive upfront cost for the initial treatment and inspection then it has an annual continuation fee that is perpetual. The initial cost is around $1500 and the annual renewal is $150. The company that I had the bond through as far as I can tell is no longer operating in my area, but they are still in business. They ignore all my calls (same operating phone numbers but it is just a message center) and correspondense. For me to have another company issue a bond it will cost me another $1500 startup fee. Is there anyway I can recoop my cost from the original company for defaulting or am I just out of luck? I would prefer I could just make them continue with the bond, they do operate within a reasonable distance. Anyway, any advise is appreciated. Thanks.
