To make a very long story short. I was test driving a car overnight and while parked in our driveway, my husband accidently backed into the car. I wanted the car anyway so I ttook it back to the dealership and explained the situation and was hurridly pushed in an office to sign all the paperwork, pushed out the door and told it was my problem now. I turned in a claim on our insurance, thinking that was my only option...now the insurance company only wants to give me about a third of what it will take to get it repaired! I need some advice soon because I do not know what options I actually have? Someone also told me it was the dealerships responsibility because their insurance would have covered the accident at the time it happened?! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!

The dealer's insurance would have covered it, but then they'd go after the guilty party, your husband, 8 of 10 times. NegotiATE HARDER WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY.
