What is the penalty for giving police a
phoney insurance card when involved in
an accident? I called the insurance
company and the policy was in effect, however, the name of the person on the
policy was not the name of the man who
hit my car. I drove by his residence,
and no one seemed to live there. In
my opinion the address (which has a mailbox
out front) is a drop off place where many
people can get their mail, claiming that
address as their own.
I don't feel that he should get away with
this. Who would I report this to?
I don't want others to go through what
I have.
