Im from Texas and need to know more about the law. What about breaking the lease with losing?...job relocation, wouldn't that be be a good reason for it in Texas? pls reply soon...thanks.

NO about the ONLY reason a judge would let you break a lease without a penalty is if your parents were in imminent danger of dying.

No judge would force you to pay rent if you moved out in a hurry, but you would still have to appear in court.

Tell landlord what happened

You need to tell landlord you will not be able to pay rent because of lost job. You will have to move or take in roommate to pay rent. Given these two options, landlord will probably let you out of lease.
