What is the name of your state? Moving from Texas (where the order is in place) to Michigan

My ex-husband has custody of my three year old daughter in Houston, TX, and I'm moving to Michigan because my father is terminally ill. What rights do I have as far as visitation for a non-custodial parent living >100 miles away?

Also, how do I go about having my child support reduced seeing as how I'm going from making $60,000/yr to a part time job?

THANK YOU for any light any one can shed on this grave situation!

you would likely have to file for modification so parenting time can be altered to suit the distance, expect that you will have to provide most, if not all of the transportation and it's related costs, as the reduction in income is voluntary- do not expect a significant decrease in your support obligation- but it doesn't hurt to try to get a reduction
