Thank you both for your comments, just to inform you however Statuatroy Rape doesn't exist in Indiana its called Sexual Misconduct w/ a Minor and for that to be aplicable she must be UNDER 16 n' I over 18, consent age here is 16, Im a law major in college so I looked into that, however the only thing that can go down here is with my mama getting in trouble as she is the legal owner of the home. I talked to an actual cop and attorny today. Thanks though for your posts. She's going home too and we'll go to court if we need to in the end

Your comment that statutory rape doesn't exist in Indiana interested me because you mentioned in your earlier post that your gf has contemplated becoming emancipated. As a law major, you must also know that Indiana doesn't have emancipation either.

yes Indiana does, I would pull up the cases If i had them noted, but considering we started to pay an attorny to do the paper work I can assure you that Indiana does indeed recognize emancipation of minors

And if you are alaw major, surely you would know that the parent who gives a child up for adoption has no claim on that child.
