That elusive stimulus check!

I only receive a tiny government pension check. No social security, because I didn’t pay in.

It made sense for my son to claim me as a dependent. He gets SSDI and works part time at a grocery store if that matters.

So I did not file 2019 taxes, or 2018.

Can I still receive a stimulus check?

If so, how?

No. You will not receive a stimulus check if you were claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return. Sorry.

I am sorry but no. Anyone claimed as a dependent on another person's return is not eligible for a stimulus check. Your son cannot get a stimulus for you either because a taxpayer cannot get a stimulus check for an adult dependent.
