5days left I need advice! driver won't fess up.

New York. I asked a person for a ride and we got pulled over by undercover cops. The driver pulled over and the officers asked us to get out of the car. I couldn't hear what the other officer was saying to the driver on the otherside of the car but I did notice the driver pulling out multiple packets of white powder and handing them to the officer. The officer with me told me to stay where I was and went to his partner and the driver, again I was to far to hear them. With the drivers side door still open one of the officers searched the car and from under the drivers seat a brown paper bag was found and the officer was excitedly said "BINGO". So as it turned out the driver said the bag wasn't his and he borrowed the car from a freind so they arrested us both. At the precinct they informed me that they pulled us over for an expired inspection sticker and the charges against ne were possession and intent to sell. Where do I stand? The driver has priors and is on probation for another drug (cocaine) bust and I have a clean record. Will I be able to have all the charges dropped? I am pushing for trial and refuse to accept their plea-bargaining. Can they convict us both for the same crimes?
