Respectfully, today the following came across my desk that if it flies will affect all of us! http://civic.moveon.org/emailtax

This, sad to say is the big ones wanting to charge us for email use; and if it is approved, then most likely it will also trickle into postings and forums as well!. Let us stand as one and oppose these greety......

While interesting I think that there are some things to note with this...

1) it only applies to AOL
2) There are MANY other email / internet carriers than AOL
3) it will only send AOL into bankruptcy as users leave the company

If every carrier was doing it then I might be concerned but as it stands now...not going to trouble myself with.
