i called out to ok. and asked them about their state laws and filing for cs assistance. i was informed that via their state law any party living in their state and wanting cs help had to file in their state. i asked them if i bordered the state of ar. and worked there, having a po box there, could i file there.

the response. it is irrevelant to the st of ok. where you work or get your mail, if you live in ok. you must file in ok for cs help. that is why ar wants written consent from both parties to handle.

my husband then sent an email to the da's office of ok in tulsa, asking the same questions in written form. he is waiting on a response.

he also agrees with the legalality of the whole thing, that later on ok. may cause problems since the mother lives in ok. and he would have to go to court again. so now trying to bounce everything back into ok. where it is legal is the task.

when ever you are in our neck of the woods, you and the family may join me and the family for a 500.00 dollar supper, including chocolate cake and/or bannana pudding.

Now we wait for a response from Ok. and send out that letter stating "no consent" for them to handle the child support.

will keep you posted.

thanks
jon and leah

thanks for the discount, sure is to bad you are not our attorney, for that price I might fix both deserts. hahaha
