Would seem to me that if it was a US employer that your 457 contributions are deducted from box 1 of your W-2.
That's correct, but the entire amount in Box 1 was excluded, so I had no taxable compensation, which would mean I need to amend to INclude 18K since that is how much went into the 457. Is this right? Thanks.
