mlane - You are wrong when you state that there is no timeline in when the employer needs to get back to you.

The statute, in part, states:

' The employer shall provide the employee with the inspection opportunity within 7 working days after the employee makes the request or if the employer can reasonably show that such deadline cannot be met, the employer shall have an additional 7 days to comply.'
I am not wrong you troll---YOU ARE NOT AN EMPLOYEE ANY LONGER! The employer doesn't have to let you see any part of the file-therefore no timeline.

You are an ignorant dummae. Take the time and actually read the statute - you will see where it also applies to 'former employees also'. Don't ever be afraid of the truth.

"In part", it does NOT say ex-employee. If you want to show you are right and the rest of us are wrong, then post the link to the FULL statute, so we can read it in its entirety. If you can't do that, then go troll somewhere else.
