What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

Is it possible for one of your divorce decrees to be so that the child doesn't have to interact with a parent's new partner or BF & GF? Basically, being involved in relationship, socialization, and overnight stays with the opposite sex, except for family or unless lawfully wed?

Thanks!!

Is there a reason you're starting new threads for every thought?

No, a parent cannot restrict the other parent in that manner unless the third party represents a threat.

The parent can request a "no paramour" clause - and that would apply to both parties. This doesn't prevent the new partner from being around the child, however - just no overnights.

QUIT MAKING NEW THREADS FOR EVERY LITTLE THOUGHT YOU HAVE. good grief. Try reading the rules as I told you a few threads ago. And keep all your threadsd together. Your situation is NOT that unique, interesting, or original that you need to post a thread for every singular thought.

To a degree... you can restrict overnights...

But no... you cannot control the lovelife with your ex forever through your child.

Your ex is allowed to have a life after you.

May we assume that your ex broke up with you because you were overly controlling?

Once your divorce is final, your ex is allowed to date and even allowed to introduce the children to the BF/GF. Even overnight restrictions are unusual in a final decree. You need to learn to let go, you're not married anymore.
