What is the name of your state? New Jersey

I'm hoping someone out there can give me some help on this one.

My ex has $170 weekly taken from his paycheck which in turn his employer sends to the State of NJ monthly. This was based on a court order issued in February. On June 2 a check for $850 was sent to the Child Support Payment center in Trenton. When I didn't receive my money shortly thereafter, I made some phone calls and found that indeed the money was sent to Trenton and the support center cashed the check on 6/6/05.

I waited a few more days and still nothing. I called the county probation department on and off for the past 3 weeks. I finally found out this week that the case number the employer put on their check was incorrect. Thus my support money got deposited to another person's account.

The support center in Trenton has a copy of the check, they know which account my money went to inadvertently but they're "still looking into it". It's impossible to talk to a "live" person, everything in this state is automated!!!

Does anyone have any advice as to what I can do to collect my money. The county probation officer is no help, he's done all that he can, so he says. Thanks in advance.
