What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Montana

Hello, I am involved in a non-profit young actors guild. We do several plays a year and generally do them at a local university theatre. We have always had a set price for renting it out for a weekend or so. There is now a new person who is helping run the theatre who thinks he knows better than everyone else. He berated us for trying to put on our show in the amount of time we have allotted and told us that he knows better about everything. Anyways he is telling us that he cannot quote us a price until we give him our business plan as he is "trying to make it more affordable for each group" and wants to set different prices for different groups. I was wondering if this is allowed as he has already told us that we were "definitely allowed to use the play music for a commercial" which I KNOW is not legal. It just seems like it is discriminatory to charge more for a group that has managed it's money well and gets good crowds just because we can spend more. Any help would be great. Thank you.
