innocent victim in MD

car was broken into.purse stolen. check forged. bank claims it was my signature but it is not. they will not investigate anymore. crime happened over two weeks ago and police have not called about case. initally came out and took a report. i have provided them with a copy of the forged check (front and back) that i demanded from the bank. what to do??????

Tell the bank's president that you'll sue the bank for conversion/theft if they don't credit your account with the money fromt he forged check.
