What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
Good evening, back in February I asked my girlfriend who works for Nationwide Insurance to give me a quote on renter's insurance which I needed to move to a new apartment. She quoted me, $274.00. I sent in my payment, but didn't get the insurance until last month. She now tells me her broker said she should've run my credit a 2nd time, which she didn't, because my credit score is now lower due to applying at several different complexes in the city. I now owe an additional $25. Now I know this isn't a lot of money, but am I responsible to pay the additional amount for this mistake? Thanks in advance.
