They Raised my car payment!

What is the name of your state? Ohio. The finance company I have my car through sent me a letter 6 weeks ago and said that I needed to switch bcak to full coverage on the vehicle. Which I did and called them about that. I assumed my insurance company would ahve forwarded them the change. Today I get a letter from them saying their going to raise my car payment $31 a month because I didn't do what they asked. I'll call them tomarrow but was curious if anyone has heard of this before?

Yes, because you failed to respond they secured their own insurance to protect their interest.
Now, before you get all hot-headed...just call your insurance company (again?) and make sure they send proof of the proper coverage.
