What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Idaho
After applying, being denied, then appealing, being denied again, I applied to have a hearing with the Administrative Law Judge. After almost a year and a half wait I attended my Social Security Disability hearing just this afternoon!
I am happy to say it was a slam dunk. I bet I wasn't in there 5 minutes and the judge approved my case right there on the spot! All the "advice" websites say that rarely happens, if ever. They say it takes 60 days to get a verdict. Well I am here to tell you that miracles do happen - especially when your significant other is a witch and conjured up a spell for me last night!
So now my question is: How long should it take for me to see some money? I am owed quite a bit in arrears, plus of course the monthly income. My lawyer said it could take 6 weeks. but wasn't sure. Anyone have similar experience or any idea how long it will take? Thank you in advance!!!
