They spelled my name wrong on both tickets i was issued

Michigan is where i live. Specifically the event in question happened in a county called Ottawa. If you ever go there try to stay as short of a time as possible because they will get you on something. Anyway i was issued 2 tickets one for possesion of a roach which i had no clue was in my car. I did not know this because i don't smoke weed. Again anyway my name was mispelled on both tickets and in the police report. I believe this to be grounds for dismissal, i was just wondering if this is true. It was my last name that was mispelled not my first name.

It's not going to be that easy. Police are allowed to make mistakes. But you can mention it in court, just to set the record straight and embarrass the officer for a little while.
