What is the name of your state? Arizona,

this company has my wife walkign on thin ice , supposedly a deed of trust had the wrong address , BUT she knows it was not her doing. knowing th esteps of knowing who to eliminate... if she gets let go adn she was not even the one who made the error. What can my wife or I do to take care of this legally or to prevent her from being the random chosen one to fire. ALso what can she tell them (the company or manager) to prove that's not legal for them to fire her if that were the case.?What is the name of your state?

Arizona is an at will employment state, They can fire her for any reason that is not illegal. In other words, so long as it is not based on her being a member of a protected class, they can fire her.

They can fire her because she made a mistake, they can fire her because they think she might make a mistake, they can fire her because she never makes mistakes.

There is nothing based on your post that indicates that if they fire her it would be illegal.

There is nothing she can show them to "prove" it would be illegal to fire her, because it wouldn't be.

A wrongful termination does not mean that you were fired for something you didn't do; it means you were fired for a reason specifically prohibited by law.
