I am in the auto body business, I had bought 17 cars at auction in michigan, I had to leave them on my friends private property while I searched for a car carrier to move to San Diego, A michigan police officer came on the property without the owners permission and ticketed all 19 vehicles on property and stated that it is a $100.00 fine for each vehicle on property, is this legal? where can I find the michigan law that covers this?
