I live in Illinois and paid for a protection plan(service contract) for a computer printer.Six months ago I contacted the contract provider and gave them all the information they needed. I have been calling every few weeks to check the status of my replacement. For the first 5 months they kept telling me 2 or 3 more weeks, but now they tell me that they sent the claim to another company.
It has been 6 months since I originally contacted this company(which is in Texas). Is there a time limit for them to respond? Can I take any type of legal action?
