What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
Well I have a situation at work, I was wrote up for taking time at work. The supervisor wanted me to sign the write up sheet, from time claiming I stole; I decline from signing any papers? I also wrote a statement saying I decline signing any papers. So I went back to chek my time on the 2 dates and I saw that I wasnt even at work on one day and the next day I clock in when I was supposed to be there. Is there anything I can do to ensure my job is safe?**************.Plus my job is leaving at the end of the year. please help

There is nothing you can do other than making sure that you clock in and out at the proper times from now on - and even that won't stop them from firing you if they really want to.

They are probably looking very hard for a reason to get rid of you before they have to lay you off due to lack of work at the end of the year and you will be able to sign up for your unemployment benefits.

But in order to terminate you and keep you from receiving unemployment, they would have to prove they had a good misconduct reason to terminate you. Be very diligent, keep up with everything, and be sure you sign in and out appropriately.

Do not quit your job at this point, no matter what they tell you. Keep working until they either let you go at the end of the year or terminate you, make sure they terminate you, instead of saying, "Wouldn't you rather quit to 'protect your references' instead of us firing you?" That's a trap.
