Most people come up here to find LEGAL Advice. Landlord/Tenant laws vary from State to State depending on where you live in the U.S.. I agree paying one's rent or house payment is a MUST DO THING!!!!! OR LOOSE IT!!!!! But also sometimes there are circumstances Beyond one's Control,

Example: What if you was in a car accident and in a COMA for several months and there is NOT ANY other FAMILY MEMBERS ALIVE. What then????? You RUDE and NASTY People.
===========================

Do you really think a judge can evict a tenant who is in a coma?

And if the judge evicts based on the Landlord lying about the tenants whereabouts or has LIED about his due dilligence in locating any family, the family or the tenant will have a big lawsuit against the landlord,

After all if the tenants dies the landlord is to be paid, by the estate,

But 90%+ of the posters here should have and could have prevented their problems....but they were either CLUELESS or refused to do anything about it untill it is WAY too late.

So being rude is just a tactic to get you so angry enough so that you will stop and think...and say DUH, why did i do that dumb thing?

So, hopefully there wont be a next time, that is what i hope for.

What an incredible bunch of hogwash !

Does any reader really think that a landlord cannot evict a tenant who has not paid rent because the tenant is in a coma? If he is incapacitated, the court will appoint a guardian and conservator (and immediatly) and if the guardian cannot get his hands on money to pay the rent immediatly, the eviction will be ordered. The tenant will remain in his hospital bed, not on the street, and the guardian will arrange for dealing with his household goods.

dj1, in his own intellectual coma, dreams that there is a big lawsuit in sight for anyone who would think different from himself. I judge that he (dj1) has no experience whatsoever with lawsuits, he seems to have had absolutely no experience in court, ever, and in fact, I think he has never had any serious responsibility for anything, not ever.

dj1 is rude and nasty, because he needs that to make himself feel good about himself, not for any other reason.
