I recently wrote about a lein being put on our home that was for sale because we didn't finish paying the contractor because he never did the punchout list. I found out today the contractor filed bankrupcy just after he put the lein on and that he is now not able to collect any monies anyway. Is this true. Thanks Robin

No, the BK Trustee may be able to collect on the lien so you are not out of the woods yet.
