Your thread has been locked, but I want to post this so that you will be better informed.

In your post, you mentioned that your wife has figured the amount of CS on only your gross income. She may have used an on line calculator that has not been updated because the laws in GA recently changed.

Another poster mentioned this, but I want to make sure that you know- that the CS will be based on BOTH of your incomes, which will be very different than what she has come up with.

Additional notes:

If she is NOT working or working minimally, ask that CS be calculated based on a full time income imputed to her. She, too, is responsible to support her child.

Also, marital debt gets shared. As do marital assets, and the marital accrual into retirement accounts.
