Ok company policy which i was not aware of is no jewerely atcompany grounds other than a single wedding ring or a medic alert tag since i work around food tongue rings were not included in the policy until recently i was told to take mine off. MY question is i got fired for not opening my mouth to show that i had removed my tongue ring, i did not feel like i had to show my toungue to prove ihad taken it out. to me it was offensive and humilifying to stick outmy toungue so i didnt stick it out, later i was fired is that legal? (oh yes i did take off the toungue ring i just didnt think i had to prove them i did they should just have taken my word for it)
