total loss mercedes benz in new jersey

my insurance company has recently informed me that they have considered the accident damage on my wifes vehicle a total contructive loss. They stated they will make an offer for the vehicle in a few days. How can I determine what this vehicle is worth? How does the insurance company arrive at a value for my car. If I wanted to replace this vehicle with the same year and model, it would cost me $33000-35000. please advise. thank you!!

Look at a Blue Book and the Yellow Book. Ask local dealers. Check the web. Ask the NJ Insurance department what the basis for compensation is.
