What is the name of your state? Illinois
I live in a 30 year old townhome development (PUD). Insurance on the summer-outdoor pool (3 '-10') is expensive. To cut insurance costs, the very popular diving board located at the 10' end of the pool was removed. Signs are embedded into the concretate at intervals around the edge of the pool stating "no diving" with a suitable icon. Since the diving board was removed pool users are diving (hands & head first) from the edge (at any depth) with the blessing of the president of the board (who also dives from the edge) and the life guards. What kind of trouble are we--the townhome owners--in, in case of a serious accident? What can be done besides questioning and complaining which is futile? Or, am I worrying needlessly?
