What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
South Carolina
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some advice on trademark laws.
I have a client that is licensed reseller for a product of another company.
The company has trademarked product name like "eNAME" and logos.
My client has written permission to use all trademark and copyright info from corp sites of the product as long as client is licensed.
But if client drops license, they no longer can use any material etc.
The corp could not get the perfect domain as it covers many other industries.
So other company has purchased eNAME.com.
So the corp has domain for product as eNAMEinfo.com.
My client has purchased his domain as eNAMEdomain.com.
They have told him he cannot use this domain if he drops reseller license.
The "e" in this NAME stands for a commonly used detergent.
bare with me please...
The advice I need goes along with my idea here...
If he ever drops reseller license and we word content as follows...
Our "eConomical NAME", better known as "eNAME", can save you an average of $600/year.
Someone please give me some advice on how not to lose all the work we are going to have in promoting this product if he drops license?
Thanks in advance!
