What is the name of your state? New York

We applied for a trademark a couple of years ago that we abandoned. Can we apply again for the same trademark?

Can I use 2 trademarks for same product? I am already allowed to use a trademark, ellenrad. But we are using a current name for the product we are selling, ellenray, this is the application that was abandoned. Now, we also want to apply for ellenray. Is there any implication if we have 2 trademarks for same product?

Yes, but you have to start over with a new application, and you cannot claim priority from the earlier application.

In general, no.

Thanks for your advise, divs. What if......We want to use ellenrad and ellenray for the same product. Can we put in our catalogs and product listings**************.Ellenrad / Ellenray? We just do not know how we will be able to use these two marks at the same time.

Or can we just say Ellenray (also known as Ellenrad)?

Thanks!

How you decide to use the two marks is a marketing decision, not a legal one.
