What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Rhode Island

We have spent an entire year going back and forth with the examining attorney after our trademark kept being denied due to being merely descriptive. My husband was in law school during the time we initially filed and found the double entendre loophole and the attorney decided to allow us to register the mark.

This morning I got an email that the publication was not opposed and I can file my statement of use but I am concerned about how to properly file it.

The website we filed the trade for is a food blog. I write about recipes and appropriately filed in class 043. The only money I make from the blog is through Google Adsense ads. Is this enough for me to claim that I am using it in commerce? I don't sell recipes, and don't intend to, but I will be selling products with the trademark on it in another week or two. I want to make sure that when I file the SOU and show screenshots of the website, along with the ads that it will be accepted by the attorney as use in commerce.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
