What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

Hi, I need a trading agreement contract. The kind of agreement I am referring to is between two individuals where I would trade the other persons account and take 20% of the profits and a 1% initial fee. I am a resident on NY state. I do not have any professional certifications and do not own a fund but am just an individual trader. Is such an agreement legal without forming an actual hedge fund or CTA? Is there a limit on the amount of assets or persons I can trade for?

Thanks,
coxmg
