pennsylvania - i received a speeding ticket on 1/3/02 (67 mph in 55 zone). the citation is dated 1/3/01 with issue date of 1/3/01. the officer wrote the wrong year on the citiation. i was wondering if the citation would be thrown out, since it's dated wrong, if i plead not guilty to date listed on the citation? would this be worth pursuing? thank you

You can use that as a defense but do not be surprised if the judge is willing to change the date to make it correct.
