What is the name of your state? OH
I'm going to give this a shot here.
I have voice mail recordings that I would like presented at a hearing.
Can I transcribe them myself and file as an exhibit?

The jist of the situation is here if you need to know, but I don't think it matters for the question.

Q: Can I transcribe them myself and file as an exhibit?

A: Sure. Try this and have duplicate copies of the voicemails and duplicate copies of the transcription for all parties involved and for the court. (The judge doesn't beat you up if he doesn't like your evidence; he just won't allow it into evidence.) But unless the voicemails say something like "It was me on the grassy knoll and I shot JFK!", then don't expect them to be given much weight as evidence even if they are admitted.

Thank you VERY much.
I have done it, although tough. Stop-Play-Stop-Play. I will file the transcribed copies with he court, plus send the his attorney copies.
I also bought the recorder and device that takes the cell voice mail and puts it onto a mini-tape.
It's just the voicemails that transpired have admissions of a custody contempt over Christmas.
Hopefully, between that and the police reports, I can prove it.
Thanks Again!

You've got authentication issues. you'll need to authenticate these voicemails -- and I'd provide the original voice copies as well, because otherwise you'll have problems with the best evidence rule.

OK.
So, I checked into these issues you suggested.
As to the best evidence.
I do have the actual voice recordings still saved in my mailbox, I resave every week or 2 to be sure, and my box can be accessed via court phone or my cell of course. My cell does not have a picture phone so I can carry it into the courtroom.
Authentication? Not sure where to go with this issue or if there is a resolution.

Should I also provide the court with a tape and his attorney along with the typed transcripts?
