Possibly, it's at the discretion of both Florida and whatever state you want to transfer to. If you were already a resident of the receiving state or you have a legitimate reason to move there and you are in good standing on your Florida probation, it's routinely granted. Often the transfer isn't speedy. You should discuss this with the probation department. Sometimes they'll authorize the move and let you phone in or otherwise deal with them remotely.

Thanks for the input FLYING RON. Im not on this probation yet, but when I do, I need to move back to nys, I was told by my attorney, I can do a mailin style probation from ny to fla, bc its a misd not felony which requires interstate compact. I hope she's (lawyer) correct in what she says.. fingers crossed

Even a misdemeanor offense will need to go through the Interstate Compact. Why do you "need" to move back to NY? That could affect the approval of the transfer.

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
Can probation be transfer to another state, 1st dui misdemeanor
If at all possible, complete any stipulations in the current state and than move. When the stipulations are completed you could probably move without any notification or any trouble. goodluck.
