Who knows what a judge would do, but that is where you will most likely need to go.

You could talk with the owners and see if they are willing to settle it to avoid court.

You could also try going to justice court which could be a much more cost effective option. Check and see what the maximum amount you can sue for is first.

Florida doesn't have a "justice court". You are probably referring to small claims court (as it is known in Florida). In the future, I would suggest that you research the applicable state before responding.
